A Star Marlin is a benevolent being and symbol of peace, hope, and purity throughout the cosmos. They are diametrically opposed to Space Whales, and one was born as part of an art exhibit by Orren Thruul. Their birth and life cycles are notable events, and they are a great interstellar import. That being said, their meat goes for a high price on the black market at Stellar Firma, being praised for it's "transcendental" taste. A drug is also associated with Star Marlins known as Marlin dust. It's unknown whether or not it actually contains Marlin remains.
